[Shanghai, 6 November 2024] – Last Thursday was the official opening ceremony of the Canada Pavilion at the China International Import Expo (CIIE). Over 20 Canadian companies were represented in the pavilion, part of a contingent of over 100 Canadian companies present at CIIE. The China International Import Expo is the largest tradeshow in China presenting countries and brands entering or active in the huge Chinese market.
Two speakers were at this Official Opening Ceremony, H.E. Jennifer May, Ambassador of Canada to China, and Carl Breau, CEO of Saimen, representing business owners active in the Chinese market.
The Canada Pavilion showcases a wide range of innovative products and services from Canada and highlights Canada’s commitment to promoting trade and cultural ties with China. CIIE is held every year in Shanghai.
