Co-Promotion of Blue Man Group
Saimen Entertainment is co-promoting the Blue Man Group’s 2019-2020 China tour, which will see the show travel around the country from November 2019 to January 2020. Saimen is co-promoting the Shanghai leg with 14 shows at 1862 Theater, a Poly Theater owned venue.

Touring Show Support
Cirque du Soleil presented over 150 shows in China in 2018, and is currently producing a new resident show in Hangzhou, set to premiere in 2019.
- Saimen was an integrated services provider on the KOOZA tour in 2017-2018. We provided local hires, work permit support, and performance license consulting.
- Saimen is providing immigration & work permits for all cast & crew working on the development of X, Cirque du Soleil’s new resident show opening December 2019 in Hangzhou.
- Saimen provided market research, location scouting, local partner research, and strategic advice for Cirque du Soleil’s Touring Show Division.
- Saimen managed the T.I.B. process to import all performance equipment for the TORUK 2018 tour in Beijing and Shanghai.

China Ramp-Up
SAMAJAM is a Montreal-based creator of participatory musical experiences.
- Saimen was SAMAJAM’s China business manager during its ramp-up from 50 shows in 2016 to 300 in 2017, and 350 in 2018. SAMAJAM had up to 5 performer teams touring 40 cities per year.
- Saimen managed all coordination and strategic relationships with Chinese promoters and clients.
- Services provided by Saimen: Tour scheduling, visa & work permit support, artist management, quality control, equipment storage, manufacturing of merchandise, accounting & cost control, financial planning, marketing support, and business development.

Technical Support
Victoria’s Secret held its annual Fashion Show event in Shanghai in November 2017.
Saimen was brought-on as an advisor to the project thanks to our multi-lingual engineering capabilities.
- Saimen supplied technical services in the lead-up to the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show held at the Mercedes Benz Arena in 2017.
- Saimen coordinated the relationship with local producers and provided engineering consulting in English, Chinese, and French.
- Following the event, Saimen rewrote MBA’s rigging manual to international standards with our engineers.

TV Show Support
Saimen acted as project manager for a segment of Occupation Double shot over 4 days in Guilin, China. Saimen scouted all filming locations, built the schedule, secured all permits & licenses, managed the TIB to import all technical equipment, processed journalist visas, and coordinated all local travel and lodging operations.
Productions J is the producer of Occupation Double, a dating reality TV show with 1.2 million viewers per week in Quebec province. The producers needed to shoot a segment of the show in China’s remote Guilin province.
